The route follows one of the original castle access paths in Mula which has been rediscovered during restoration work

January 18 Guided walk to the castle of Mula During the work to renovate the access to the interior of the castle of Mula an original pathway was rediscovered which leads up to the fortress, supported by a stonework wall which reaches up to 7 metres in height, and this route ends at a rectangular tower which protected entry to the fortified area by means of an elbow-joint design, which made it all but impossible for horsemen to rush the castle.

January 18 Guided walk to the castle of Mula This guided walk on Saturday January 18 follows that path and begins in the Placeta del Castillo (coordinates 38.044728, -1.492509) at 20.00 midday. The registration cost is 4 euros (2 euros for senior citizens, free for under-12s) and bookings can be made online here.
