Alicante weather forecast Feb 10-13: Widespread showers with rising temperatures
A storm travelling in from the Azores will leave widespread rain in Alicante province in the middle of the week
Average temperatures expected on Wednesday
After a weekend where temperatures reached a spring-like 20ºC in many parts of Alicante, some changes are afoot this week with the arrival of a cold front from the Azores Islands.
A storm will have taken hold in most of Spain by the middle of the week and the entire province can expect overcast skies and heavy rain. However, although it will be damp and rather dark, the temperatures will once again shoot up into the 20s in many parts.
Monday February 10
On Monday we can expect cloudy intervals along the coast, where the occasional spot of drizzle isn’t ruled out.
For now, day-time temperatures will hover around the high-teens in most parts.
Tuesday February 11
The skies will become more overcast on Tuesday although it should remain dry overall. Daytime-temperatures will remain at 17ºC or 18ºC.
Wednesday February 12
The real change will come today with heavy cloud cover and rain forecast throughout Alicante province.
Wednesday evening will be rather chilly but during the day, the temperatures will shoot up to hit 21ºC or 22ºC in most parts.
Thursday February 13
Another cloudy day is on the cards and there’s a good chance of showers up and down the coast, although the rain should be confined to the north of Alicante by evening. This could also develop into thunderstorms in parts.
Day-time temperatures will remain largely unchanged in the south of the province but the mercury will dip by a couple of degrees elsewhere.

- Monday February 10: Min 3ºC; Max 17ºC
- Tuesday February 11: Min 3ºC; Max 18ºC
- Wednesday February 12: Min 5ºC; Max 21ºC
- Thursday February 13: Min 4ºC; Max 17ºC
