ARCHIVED - 1st February to 1st March, KM-0 tapas and wine route in Jumilla
Culinary treats accompanied by DO Jumilla wines throughout the month of February
10 bars and restaurants are taking part in the KM-0 tapas route which is being held in Jumilla every day of the week throughout February, offering special snacks and D.O. Jumilla wines every day of the week and a range of prizes and prize draws.
All of the bars and restaurants taking part area affiliated to the Jumilla Wine Route, and the wines offered to “taperos” during the event are supplied by 16 of the bodegas who subscribe to the route. Each dish is priced at 4 euros, including the glass of wine, and free surprise gifts awarded to lucky customers include cheeses visits to wineries, bottles of wine and wine glasses.
In addition, anyone who visits all ten establishments and collects the stamp on their route map to prove it is eligible for a prize draw in which trips to wine producing regions throughout Spain and Europe are the prizes.
On 1st March all of the establishments will take their tapas and wines out into the streets and offer them at a live concert.
The establishments taking part are the following:
Restaurante-Bar Casa Sebastián (Avenida de Levante, 6, telephone 968 780194)
Restaurante-Bar San Agustín (Avenida Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, 62, telephone 968 781314)

Armed with the map, “taperos” select the dishes would like to try, then set off and find the establishment, order the tapa and ask for the route card to be stamped as proof of purchase. There is no set schedule, people can visit as few or as many establishments as they want to, and the route can be revisited at any time during the promotion.
